Our Story

Meet the founder, Carol

I am Wyoming’s only Professional Wedding Planner TM, and I have over 15 years of experience in the wedding and event industry. It has been my pleasure to work with Wyoming Stock Grower’s Ag Land Trust to produce their annual fundraiser, which has an attendance of over 300 guests, here in Cheyenne and in Saratoga, Wyoming. I have enjoyed working on corporate events for Duke Energy, Holly Frontier Refinery, and Gases Plus Norco. My career has also included planning and decorating numerous weddings and social events throughout Wyoming, eastern Nebraska, and northern Colorado. The highlight of my career is being a part of the most important day of a couple's life, their wedding day.

A-One Weddings & Events began as a part of Holmes A-One Rental in 1953. From the beginning, we offered quality rentals such as event furniture, dishware, and glassware. In 2001, we realized that to best meet the wedding and event needs of our clients we needed to expand our services to include event design, décor, and professional consulting.  With this change, we felt it fitting to name this branch  A-One Weddings & Events as we are your full-service wedding and event headquarter. In order to ensure our team has the highest quality training we attend annual events at the American Rental Association, The Special Event, Wedding MBA, and other conferences. We are also active members and participants in the American Rental Association, the Association of Bridal Consultants, and the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.
